The Chicago Cubs have not won a world series in over 100 years and are looking to make some key changes to end that record. The Cubs have already signed John Grabow from Pittsburgh to a 2-year contract, who will set up potential closer Carlos Marmol. A few more signings added to the stronger and healthier team from last year, could prove a winning combination for the 2009-10 season. A day at Wrigley Field is something no baseball fan should miss. Make the trip to Chicago to catch the Cubs at historical Wrigley Field.

Chicago Cubs History: The Cubs franchise started in 1870 and the decision to become the Chicago Cubs in 1897. During these years, player-manager Cap Anson led the club to 1200 wins and 5 titles, as he became the first batter to reach the 3000 hit club. After winning back to back titles in 1907 and 1908, the Cubs have experienced the longest championship drought out of any team in any of the four major U.S sports: 100 years. Though the Cubs have not won a World Series since the 1908 season, they continue to attract a large number of fans to Wrigley Field. They won the NL Central in 2007 and look to make a push at a World Series title this season to break the curse.
