Dave Matthews  Band was formed in 1991 by guitarist and singer-songwriter Dave Matthews. The band also includes saxophonist LeRoi Moore, bassist Stefan Lessard, drummer Carter Beauford and violinist Boyd Tinsley. DMB has sold over 31 million units in the United States, putting them in the top 100 for Highest Selling Music Acts ever. Dave Matthews Band released its first album in 2003, titled Remember Two Things, under their Bama Rags label. The band finally started to tour in 2004, right before its release of its RCA debut, Under the Table Dreaming. The tour lasted for over a year and stretched all over the globe. DMB's popularity continued to grow as they came out with their second Studio Album, titled Crash. The band now had a wide fan base and live albums were released with all of its hit songs. Dave Matthews Band has continued to produce new albums including Everyday (2001), The Lillywhite Sessions (2001), Busted Stuff (2002), and Stand Up (2005). To date it has released 10 live albums, largely due to the the popularity of its stage performances. DMB has been nominated for 12 Grammy Awards and won Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for "So Much to Say" in 1997.
